Beach Days Comic Book
Beach Days is a beach day educational comic book. In Summer 2019, the Shark Lab released a comic book for kids on how be safe at the beach (Beach Days – Share the Waves) and learn to share the ocean with marine life. Lessons include how to identify and avoid rip-currents, injured marine mammals, jellyfish, stingrays, and sharks. The comic books will be distributed to junior lifeguard programs and kids ages 8-12.
I was brought on board to redesign the logo and to translate the book into Spanish.

Riding the wave of success from its first Beach Days comic book, Cal State Long Beach’s Shark Lab is releasing its next educational endeavor for kids, a 32-page work of art aiming to stress the importance of cleaning up the oceans, and preventing further pollution.
For this volume I was put in charge of character redesigns, color design, visdev, and story and its Spanish translation.
