Hello, my name is Renato 'Ren' Bernal ! I am an artist living in the Los Angeles area!

 

I graduated from CSULB Animation/Illustration program in 2018. I've been a Lead Story Artist on the new popular kids-comic book series Beach Days! While also doing freelance Character Design work for secret shows in development.

 

I have art directed short films that have been screened in Society Of Illustrators, CSU Animation Festival, and currently working on a new animated series pitch! I really love animation- children’s TV especially- and I hope to help bring new, diverse, and untold stories that kids all around the world who watch can resonate with!

 

When I'm not drawing, you can find me playing video games, streaming, or having safe social distancing

walks with my dogs, Yoshi and Beck.
